Beef Day at the Legislature set for February 27th

PIERRE, SD - Beef Day at the Legislature has been set for February 27th in Pierre. The event, which will feature several beef groups from across the state, will be held in the Capitol Rotunda from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“This event is a collaborative effort between the beef groups in South Dakota,” said Richard Benda, secretary, Department of Tourism and State Development. “Beef Day gives us an opportunity to showcase the South Dakota Beef Industry including research, consumer health information, value-added beef products and SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED ™ Beef.”
Attendees at the event will be treated to beef samples from the various beef groups. “It’s South Dakota beef at its finest,” Benda said. Groups that will be participating in Beef Day at the Legislature are:
