Second Sunshine Foods store in Sioux Falls to carry SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef

PIERRE, S.D.- A second Sunshine Foods in Sioux Falls is now carrying SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef products from Marshall John’s Beef. The store is located on 10 St. West.
“We are pleased to see a second Sunshine Foods carry SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef,” said Richard Benda, secretary, Department of Tourism and State Development. Sunshine Foods first started carrying SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef in 2006.
“Consumers are taking notice of SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef, and like what they see,” said Benda. “As a result, more and more retailers are providing their customers with the opportunity to buy this high quality product.” Benda noted that there are currently 31 retail establishments and restaurants in South Dakota that carry SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef.
“SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef was a hit last year when we introduced it at our first Sunshine Foods location in Sioux Falls. The decision to expand the product into our second location was easy – the public wants it, so we’ll supply it,” said Bob Sheley, meat manager. “Sunshine Foods firmly believes in supporting local South Dakota businesses and this is great opportunity for us to help South Dakota grow,” he added.
