PIERRE, SD - SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef will be featured during the Brown County Fair when Frohling’s Meats of Hecla sponsors several outdoor cooking demonstrations using the beef.

Demonstrations will be held at the Home Arts Building on the Brown County Fair Grounds August 17 and 18 beginning at 2:30. A professional chef will prepare several simple beef recipes and samples will be given away. “This is a great opportunity to showcase SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef,” said Bill Even, director, Governor’s Office of Economic Development. “We expect 300 or more fair-goers to attend the demonstrations, learn how to prepare a great recipe and taste a sample of SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef.”

SOUTH DAKOTA CERTIFIED™ Beef is available at several area locations including Frohling’s Meats of Hecla, Glacial Lakes Meat and Processing of Britton and Maverick’s Restaurant of Aberdeen.
